Jagriti Art Initiative held an Sit & Draw Competiton at St. Stephen s School, Bow Bazaar for all its 252 under privileged children on 25th March, 2009 at its premises presided over by the Commissioner of Kolkata Police, Mr. Goutam Mohan Chakraborti who gave away the art materials to the children present.
 
The school has students from mainly children of porters, durwans, helpers, peons, housemaids etc., who are taught by qualified teachers in the English medium only. We sponsored their Sit & Draw competition for all ages and classes by sponsoring art materials, awards, for all. The programme was also attended by Mr & Mrs. Imran Zaki, Patron In-Chief of St. Stephen s School, Mr. Gaurang Jalan, Director of Jagriti Art, along with his spouse, Abha besides Press & Media.
