'EMERGING BENGAL'- PAINTINGS & SCULPTURES SHOW, MUMBAI.

Gallery Art & Soul, Mumbai, and Jagriti Art Initiative, Kolkata are having a month long art exhibition - "Emerging Bengal"- of about 55 paintings & sculptures in Mumbai, to showcase works of some of the latent and emerging talent in the contemporary art space of Bengal now, besides sprinkling of some seniors.
This exhibition commenced on 30.10.2018 and will continue till 01.12.2018 at 11, Madhuli, Shivsagar Estate, Worli, Mumbai 400018 from 10.30 am to 7.00 pm.

Calcutta was the birthplace of modern Indian literary and artistic thought and is referred to as the "cultural capital of India".

In the recent years, there has again been a strong surge of interest in the Bengal School of art among scholars and Art connoisseurs alike.
