Jagriti Art Initiaitive showcased paintings and sculptures of around
50 eminent artists at our Group Show -
CREARTIVITY - II - at the
Birla Academy of Art & Culture (4th floor) in association with
Rotary International District 3291.
The show was inaugrated by the US Consul General,
Ms. Beth A. Payne, who graced the occasion as
Chief Guest on 121st October, 2008 at 6.30pm.
Smt. Jayashree Mohta, Vice-chairperson, Birla Academy of Art & Culture and
Mr. Bickram Ghosh, the renowned
Tabla Maestro were present as
Guests of Honour.
His Excellency Mr. Bruno Campria, Consul General of Italy was also present as
Special Guest besides a galaxy of VIPs, artists and patrons which included Jogen Chwdhury, Rabin Mondal,. Ganesh Haloi, Niranjan Pradhan, Parbati Bhattacharjee, Partha Pratim Deb, Samir Aich, Jaya Ganguly, Atin Basak, Art Critic Manasij Mazumdar and Nanak Ganguly to name a few besides Press fraternity.
