Jagriti Art Initiative in association with Stanley Boutique opened a Furniture & Art Show on 31st January, 2009 at Stanley, 11F, East Topsia Road, Mirania Gardens, Kolkata 700046 which was attended by prominent art lovers and socialites of Kolkata.

A live musical jugalbandi was also performed on the same evening by Sunayana Ghosh and Kaushik Konwar (disciples of Pt. Shankar and Bickram Ghosh) on Tabla, Kausik Acharjee on Base & Spanish Guitar and Bijoy Mishra on Sarangi, which enthralled the audience present on a perfect winter evening of Sree Panchami (Saraswathi Puja).

On display are affordable paintings and sculptures of emerging artists which, for the first time, have been show cased with furniture from the renowned 'Stanley' brand. It gives the visitors an idea of the inter dependence and synergy between the two as both are displayed in perfect harmony with each other.

The Show continued till 20th February, 2009.
