Jagriti Art Initiative showcased Paintings and Sculptures at our first Group Show METAPHORIC SHIFTS&NEW IMAGERY-at Lalit Kala Akademi in Gallery 1, 2 & 3 in New Delhi which beganfrom 21st and continued till 27thDecember, 2009.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Higazy. Ambasssador of Arab Republic of Egypt to India,Dr. Sudhakar Sharma, Secretary, Lalit Kala Akademy and Mr Irrfan Khan,Actor & Oscar Award winner were 'Guests of Honour at the show.
A share from sales of the corpus was donated for charitable purposes to the NGO - Literacy India, New Delhi for their various philanthropic activities. As a starting point of our commitment, a cheque of Rs 51,000/-was handed over to them on this occasion.
