Jagriti Art Initiative in association with Medica Superspeciality Hospital had an art event, 'Art with a Heart' for the benefit of needy patients requiring financial assistance for life threatening surgeries at Medica. The project was co-hosted by Welcome Art and supported by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO).
This Art exhibition for noble causes was held from 22nd & 24th October, 2016 at Welcome Art Gallery at ITC Sonar , Kolkata. An array of about 65 art works were displayed of emerging artists, mainly from Bengal.
The show was sponsored by NFS Maintenance Services & powered by FACES. Carpediem was its media partner & Fratelli was the beverage partner. 91.9 Friends FM was the Radio Partner.
The show was inaugurated by renowned film maker, Mr. Madhur Bhandarkar who was also felicitated on this occasion by us for receiving the coveted Padmashree in 2016.
Dr. Alok Roy, Chairman, Medica Hospitals, Smt. Anupama Sureka, Chairperson, FLO, Mr. Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, President, ASSOCHAM (Eastern India) & CEO, Mani Group of Companies graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
The event was well received by the patrons, guests and media who attended in large number.
